Jumping back into the fray!

Its been a few weeks since I last posted. And its been a hell of a couple weeks!

To those who don't know, I have rejoined the advertising industry. Its 1.30 in the morning right now and I am sitting in Mission Control in the middle a big huge pitch. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but in all honesty, it is FUN.

So, lets see how this goes with this new job, and when I have more time I will post again.

Time flies by..

They say that there is no better way of feeling older than to watch your children grow. Ben is 8 today. Incredible isn't it how time really flies by. It feels just like yesterday when I held him in my arms for the first time in the hospital, and just look at him now..

I wish he was by my side, so that I can wish him with a great big embarrassing kiss and great big bear hug. I guess I will just have to do it in spirit. Happy Birthday my dear son. I miss you and love you dearly!

I need that little shiney white brick!

I have spent the better part of last week ripping all my CDs. And now that I have almost completed this project, I need somewhere to store all these songs. Lat count, I have approximately 1000 songs ready to be downloaded into an iPod. Grin.

Yay!

On a totally separate note, I have been interviewing with Dentsu (a rather big japanese advertising agency) in the past 2 weeks, meeting up first with their COO, then with some of the staff, then the clients and yesterday the CEO... a long drawn out process, but quite important to gain valuable insight into how compatible we are to each other. Well.. I had hoped to start in April, but things have moved a lot quicker than I had anticipated. I will start work next week! Eeeks! But I haven't even made new pants yet! Getting slightly anxious now.
